I led the branding campaign for Baskin Day, a student-led organization that hosts an annual event to honor Baskin School of Engineering.
Our goal was to promote the comeback of our yearly in-person event jam packed with activities from club fairs, career recruitment, games, and research panels.
Celebrating the innovators that establish our community at Baskin Engineering.
Our Goal
As the university population was transitioning back to in-person activities and learning, we decided it would be a great opportunity for the return of our annual event.
With that in mind, we decided to go with the theme of reestablishing an active community.
What did I learn?
It was an impactful experience, seeing the reception from students interacting with clubs, faculty, and companies. From brainstorming to organizing workshops, and then welcoming students in the day of the event. contributing to the progress in creating the event has been an eye-opening opportunity. Although there were obstacles we could have not expected (like snowfall in Santa Cruz!), we were able to pull off hosting a great event.
I would like to thank the Baskin Day committees, Baskin Engineering, and MESA for being there when I needed feedback or advice :) It takes a team to create something impactful, and the things I learned from taking the initiatives is something I will carry with me to create impact on a larger scale.
